No strangers to us or many readers, KAWS speaks candidly about his recent book by Rizzoli and what truly inspires him among other topics.

The beloved Air Jordan III will see yet another retro release as the iconic white/cement grey colorway begins hitting select accounts. The shoes feature the familiar white leather upper, complimented with fire red accents and its traditional elephant print throughout. A pre-order is now in effect through UK retailer

visvim Hudson Jacket

Here’s a look into a design for Fall/Winter 2010 from esteemed Japanese label visvim. Working with a sheep skin motif, Hiroki Nakamura creates this timeless piece which nicely balances style with function, perfect for the Winter months. Made in limited quantities, the jacket can be found through select retailers, with each piece being signed by the visvim designer himself, Hiroki Nakamura.

Chippewa Crazy Horse Collection by Ronnie Fieg

Capping off the year with another impressive round of product, Ronnie Fieg presents his Crazy Horse Collection made in collaboration with American bootmakers Chippewa. Offered is some insight from Ronnie himself: “I’ve been ranting about this collection for so long, it felt as if this week would never come. This project means a lot to me, I really feel like i have worked to get to this point where the product speaks for itself. These 6″ classics feature 3H Crazy horse leathers, leather lining, Vibram outsoles, comfort sock liners, leather boot laces, and American Flag lace locks. These leathers are as unique as it gets, the blue and green tones are different from what I have ever seen on boots and the brown “rough out” leather is super high grade.” The boots will see a release on December 3rd through the David Z. flagship (556 Broadway) as well as online at DavidZ.com. Retail is set at $210 USD.

Closer look at the Retro III 'Doernbecher'

Following an initial preview back in October, we now get a closer look into the latest Air Jordan model from Nike’s ongoing Doernbecher campaign. This new design continues the AJ III’s excellence with one of the more visually intriguing colorways we’ve seen executed on the iconic silhouette. Done up in a 3M scheme, the shoes feature reflective materials via the tongue, lace panel, and above the midsoles. Red serves as the predominate hue with black and silver adding some contrast in color. Clear outsoles with red stitching finish off the design. A scheduled release is set for December 11th, 2010, through limited Jordan Brand doors.

Billionaire Boys Club 2010 Fall/Winter “DIGI” Collection New Releases

Releasing this weekend over at the Ice Cream flagship in Tokyo, Billionaire Boys Club has revived its popular digi-camo print on a handful of apparel pieces. The capsule collection includes no less than a Rifleman jacket, Down vest and two mesh hats, each featuring the famed digital decoration. Interestingly, each item is reminiscent of previous or classic releases from the brand. Most obviously, the Down vest is evocative of the recent World Fair Down Vest, only this time, the Ice-Cream splodge has been digitalised. Overt branding is kept to a minimal, and each piece will be available in one alternative colorway.

The ''Doernbecher's''

The Doernbecher x Air Jordan project continues in the form of a rejuvenated Jordan III silhouette. The uppers feature a varsity red colorway encompassing various textures, from cement print on the toe and heel panels to a unique monogram pattern that comprises the side panels and toe box. The sneakers are further accented with a black collar, midsole, tongue and laces. Throw in hints of silver outline details on the logo, and clear gum soles, and these sneakers are sure to conjure up a lot of talk. Priced at a $125 USD, the collaboration will be available this November at select Jordan Brand retailers.

Jordan 6 Rings Winterized Boots

Jordan Brand continues their Winterized designs with a couple of new colorways in the outdoors-inspired Winterized 6 Rings, a rugged remake of the brand’s 6 Rings hybrid sneaker. Much like the Winterized Spizike, the boots feature a beautiful assortment of premium textile choices with superb construction, surely something needed for a functional outdoors silhouette. A release for both is set for October 2010 via finer Jordan Brand accounts.

Supra Henry

Supra blends the lines between boots and shoes with their brand new Henry silhouette. The boot features a “welt” design paired with a rugged yet light weight rubber outsole. The stylistic points of the boot are driven home with metal eyelets extending to the top, and a padded canvas collar. The Henry will be available in Brown, Oxblood, Black TUF, and Army Green and is set to drop at Supra in store and online Friday September 24th at noon.

COMME des GARCONS PLAY 2010 Fall/Winter New Releases

A new month calls for new product, this time a solid range of releases form COMME des GARCONS PLAY makes its way to HAVEN. Utilizing the brand’s signature heart logo, designed by Filip Pagowski, the collection is comprised of mostly graphic tees, along with a selection of long-sleeves and knits. All carry a toned down look, with PLAY’s playful aesthetic in full swing. These garments are now available directly through the HAVEN online store.

Nike Air Max LeBron VIII – “Blackout”

It’s no secret that LeBron James and rapper Jay-Z have a friendship off the court. Many thought that friendship would ultimately land LeBron in New Jersey, where Jay is a minority owner of a Nets team that is expected to make a move to Brooklyn in 2012. Though things didn’t exactly work out that way, the two remain good friends. Perhaps Jay can show love to the South Beach Sidekick with this new “All Black Everything” colorway of the Air Max LeBron VIII.

This black on black colorway of LeBron’s eight signature sneaker features a black leather upper, with black Flywire panels working the heel and forefoot. Black mesh is spotted on the lower half of the tongue, while tonal nubuck appears on the eyestay and top of the tongue. Continuing a true “blackout” theme, a black 360-Air unit sits above a black rubber outsole to finish the look.

Look for these to drop in the coming months.

Passarella Death Squad x G-SHOCK DW-6900FS Launch Event Recap

Last week marked the release of the collaborative effort between G-SHOCK and UK based fashion label Passarella Death Squad in the form of the DW-6900FS. The released was accompanied by an event commemorating the watch and subsequent release of the debut album from Passarella Death Squad. The watch features a blacked out face and band save for a white double star logo playing off a military theme.

Jordan Winterized Spizike Black/Challenge Red

Although the boots are obviously molded after Jordan Brand‘s original Spizike silhouette, the Winterized Spizike has historically followed hues relating back to hiking boots, cut out for the Winter months. This latest release boasts a colorway we’d more than likely expect on the original Spizike platform, yet still delivers the quality and premium material usage we’ve come to expect from its Winterized counterpart. Dark shadow, black, and challenge red make up the uppers, with a release set for October 1st, 2010.
